go so far as to generalize it but rather merely offer it as an example?
Maybe change the IP addresses or domain names to foo.example or something.
Or is that what you meant by generalising it? (I am thinking you meant make all
the customising options be variables nicely at top of file or something. That wouldnt
be needful for just an example.)
