Caudium, based on Roxen Challenger 1.3, has announced a release version. This version addresses a number of bugs and incorporates a number of performance and usability enhancements. Among some of the new changes are better http serving, an improved parser that uses XMLish syntax, and much more.
The goal of the Caudium Project is to enhance the features present in Roxen 1.3 while retaining compatability. In most cases, Caudium is a drop in replacement for Roxen 1.3, and Caudium is Pike-version independent, meaning that it runs under Pike 0.6 and 0.7.
Caudium is an open-source project, and volunteers are always welcome. More detailed information regarding the project is available from the project announcement, as well as the Caudium Website.
